After morning prayers, I relaxed and finished writing a musical setting to Psalm 10, and even though this psalm starts with a sombre question sung by a solo treble voice “Why do you stand far away?” – a question many have asked of God.
A hot evening draws in on the Isalnd of Rhodes and the sound of an aeroplane overhead disturbs the peaceful sunset. The sound settles and the beauty of a sunset is once again focussed on.
The more I look at nature, the more I see the fingerprints of God. The more time I spend in nature, the more God unveils His presence through the Holy Spirit showing how creation is beautiful and a perfectly designed biosphere that has been subject to falleness of sin.
