As on earth as it is in Heaven. God speaks through dreams and here we see the material world reflected in the lake at Delemere forest in Cheshire. I’ve been having a recurring dream. There are some themes that seem to repeat so the message must be important.
I’m at a wedding, my own but I have forgotten my wedding suit – Here we are at the beginning of the story, I think the wedding suit is clear, put on righteousness, put on Christ. There is a wonderful expression from a book I am reading where the author Leanne Payne calls people to practice Gods presence. When we pray at the start of each day practice Gods presence, believe that God is there with you before you go out into the dark world. Don’t go out into the darkness without your suit of light, fix your eyes on the Lord. Practice His Presence through your prayers first.
while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.
2 Corinthians 4:18
At some point I have to fly to get the suit but people don’t believe I can do it, they say they will write my obituary! But I prove them wrong and leap upwards flying to get my suit. – This part perhaps is not so clear. Many Christians don’t think about the supernatural world but it exists and we are told repeatedly by God to believe. Believe and amazing things will happen. People of the world have a different view, perhaps they are in it for themselves and just believe they might as well eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die. They are wrong. Christ is as real as the air I breath. Cast off the fears of the naysayers of this world and believe.
Do not be afraid, only believe
Mark 5:36
Whilst flying demons appear and my flying seems slow. – The enemies of God are always there to tempt us and try to slow Gods work down. Many times I have been caught out and sit in prayer asking Jesus how He could still be with me, such a wretched sinner, but as Paul says succinctly;
who shall separate us from the love of Christ”.
Romans 8:35
I’m teaching but it is not working well as the children are rude. – this part I have been thinking about a lot. Do we ask ourselves, are we on the right path? Are we where God has meant us to be? Some days as a teacher I go home thinking “why am I doing this?” It could also mean the world is against us, as is clearly seen when you see the news. Persecution is what Christians are suffering, and even in dear old Blighty, the United Kingdom, people have been arrested for praying, for sticking to their religious beliefs, or for just answering questions truthfully whether that is about Gods view in marriage – which has never changed – one man and one woman, or the gender ideology that is currently being indoctrinating into children at schools. We will all meet adversity – how will we respond to it?
Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13
I’m performing in a massive rock musical to inspire children about building a bigger church – Ampnitheatre type but under cover. This is the gospel, to spread the message of the salvation to all who would accept Jesus, through what ever medium we are gifted with. I am in the process of writing a large scale rock oratorio using typical rock band instruments, an orchestra and a large ensemble with narrator. It seems slow progress but my hope is that someday it will be used to spread the message of the love of Jesus. Do what ever you do for the Lord.
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
Colossians 3:23-24

Dear Lord, thank you for this life and the trials and tribulations as these will shape us. Guide us continually with your steady hand and allow our footsteps to fall on the sure rock that is Jesus your son. Amen
