When I made this video in 2016 I had spent a long time creating a space to pray. This is so important that we all have a space to pray, because on experience if I go without it then my life ends up being in tatters and sin creeps back into my life. It has been quite interesting as many people seem to find this one video and they want to discuss first the hut and then its meaning. Obviously I have moved on and do not have access to this place anymore, but I have a more wondrous thing which is instant access to a forest. Perhaps the hut was a distraction to the message?

As I was praying this evening I re-read over this part of the gospel and was hit me was how Jesus was saying he is the only way to the Father, and not only that but everyone who tries to tell you they can lead you to peace rather than Jesus is not only lying but is a thief, is literally stealing your soul from God. Turning you away from the source of Truth, Peace and hope – that is Jesus.

⁷ Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. ⁸ All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. ⁹ I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.^[a] They will come in and go out, and find pasture. ¹⁰ The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

JOHN 10:7-10

When Jesus says “All who have come before me, the word seems to suggest, all who have come before, and who continue to come” so any religion or philosophy, Jesus is declaring is false. This can be hard for many to bare but we are called to bare this message – but do not forget to carry the message onto the last verse which says Jesus has come so that we can have life to the fullest.

Dear Lord,
help us to bare this message with love
and lead everyone to Jesus,
the Door and only door to the Father.
