A day of what usually is busy faith, turns into a day of self reflection. There are days that I look up and wonder why did God bother with me? This isn’t depression or low self esteem, but a disbelief that God would be bothered about someone who is so far removed from the likeness of His Son that He would be there for them. Then I look out of the window and the blood red flowers turned white. Easter Sunday, and the flowers turned white.
Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
God never stops loving, He never gives up, He is always there. Waiting so patiently. If you are waiting to go to church just turn to God right now in prayer because Church comes from within. Church is within everything you do, it is your life given as a self sacrifice. I think that we have got used to the ceremonies of community worship that we have started to think that is all there is.
You are important to God because He risked everything on the cross for you.
Dear Lord, Father, your voice comes through sometimes hard, but with love. You are with all of us and you are patient beyond anything we could ever be. Shape us into the form of your Son, Jesus, who is our saviour and redeemer. Amen.
