A tentative run taking care not to shock my knees. I arrived back and lay next to the fire I had started in the centre of the sand area. The stones felt warm and the area inside the circle, even though it wasn’t protected with insulation or enclosed as a building, but just an open trellis roof.
As I lay there, looking up at the stars and praying and reciting psalms, I was reminded that our faith needs to be hot. The stones and warm or hot because they are close to the fire. We like wise must be close to Jesus so that our faith can be maintained, we can be eternally hopeful. I wam not saying we will not feel pain in our lives, we will, but our daily walk should be filled with hope. Keep yourself focussed on Jesus.
Ephesians 1:7,11,13
7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace
11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance,
13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
Faith is not obscure – the bible lays it simple for all to accept; Trust and be sealed!
In these times of crisis I prayer for everyone is struggling, either with any virus, or other infirmity, or if you are struggling with courage to go into work, may at this time the blood of Jesus cover everything you do to keep you safe. In Jesus name. Amen
