A short run on a tiring night. The route was clear and there was only a slight breeze after yesterdays huge gale.
Despite the challenges I reached the end of another day and I was positive, even though there are far too many people that seem worried. I even found myself quoting Matthew 6 to someone who had seemed like he had given up. Not the recommended way to help someone but scripture can provide the most subtle advice.
Matthew 6:25-26
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Dear Lord, like the bird in the picture I lack for nothing. You have given me everything that I have in life; health, a job, a challenge. May we all rise to the challenges ahead so that your kingdom is made evident here on earth.
Amen
