Day 359 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour who is Christ the Lord.

The black bird brought the news crowing “God will provide everything!”

1 Kings 17:6

5-6 Elijah obeyed God’s orders. He went and camped in the Kerith canyon on the other side of the Jordan. And sure enough, ravens brought him his meals, both breakfast and supper, and he drank from the brook.

If we let Him God will provide, but can we follow his Word?

The black bird brought the news again “God is here, God is here, come and see!”

Luke 2:11-14

11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour  who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

14 “Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!

God provides more than bread and water, he provides himself as salvation. There is no complicated ceremony to go through – just confess Jesus Christ is Lord and follow his promptings to change your life and Jesus will save you. This offer is here for everyone. Why not turn to God today on this wonderful Christmas morning?

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for your salvation. May many people this day turn to you so that we can have peace on this earth and goodwill to all mankind.

Amen
