This donkey seems to be able to see right into your heart, perhaps there is a sadness there, or perhaps just questions about its life.
How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!

I awake, and I am still with you.
The day started to reflect on a place of prayer. It is wonderful when there is somewhere to pray, perhaps a room set aside, perhaps a tree, perhaps a place you have built within your memory?
But this verse tells me that despite my attempts to be with our Lord in special places, He is with me always, and armed with this knowledge we can rest assured that things are working themselves out through God’s eternal plan.
A simple prayer for tomorrow.
Let my coming and going be in step with you Lord always.
