Leaves on a tree clinging on for dear life, but we know that they must fall so that renewal can come and through this sacrifice more life can benefit.
Clouds, puddles, gusts, small moments of fear that all is lost,
Darkness, rain, wind, such moments of flight that drain our will,
Constantly oppressing the enemy attacks,
Never giving in forever clinging to our backs
Advice, encouragement, direction, shout of hope in a clear young voice,
Council, praise, attitude, raise his name as a child shall call,
Constantly within the Spirit’s prayers are poured
Never-ending love from the servant Lord.
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
Dear God, we praise your name,
forgive our foolishness,
Put us to work in joy,
