This was the sunrise this morning. A wonderful orange glow as I looked out across the gardens. As the minutes ticked away the rain came back down and the cold weather came in again.
For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
Perhaps God has been deliberately making it so I stay inside to do other things rather than go outside to work on the hut. In this time that I have not gone outside, I have gathered wood to complete the project, I am now a proud owner of a chiminea. All that I require now is time to do all these tasks.
Thinking about all the other projects that are going on in my life, God is placing all the parts together so that they should be fruitful. We have to be patient that God will make fruitful the projects that will benefit him and if a project is not led by God then it will not come to fruitfulness.
I am still in awe of Noah who is patient for 100 years before the rains come. How patient is our distant hero of our faith?
All things on this earth are under Gods power, and there can be no power that is not here that is not being permitted for the greater good by God. Jesus is even questioned about pilot’s authority but he responded that there can be no power that is not given by God. He is our past, present and future. Even when things seem slow, seem painful. let us go forward with faith so that all paths of the will of God can be completed in hope and joyfulness.
Dear God, let us wait in patience, let us wait for your voice and then work for your will.
Let us love you more, Hear you more, and follow you more.
