I felt like I was inside the whole day, from an early dark sky, to appearing outside again in the dark. There was a few minutes I managed to go outside and I was surprised by the colours I saw in the sky, very faint but they were there.
18 “Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.
I love the start of this verse, where God says “Come now, let us reason together”, Like I deserve to sit down next to God and reason with him, I have the mind of an ant and He has the mind of a multiverse.
I saw blue emerging, yellow and a very faint red. Half way through the day I saw a red piece of string tied around a cross. This reminded me of the sacrifice of Christ. How wonderful is this gift to humanity! When we tell people of our faith, some people suggest we are lecturing them, but really I have learnt that it is a gift we are trying to give away. The person may not accept it, but it is a gift and we must try to give it away in love.
The red string reminds me of Jesus’ sacrifice, his blood that makes us white as snow, and also it reminds me of the first Adam who was made living, and life was in his blood. But in Jesus and his sacrifice we have a better blood that gives a gift of Spirit to each person that seeks. What will you give to God to thank him for your life?
Dear Lord, from you comes all, life, nature, light and colours. May we grow to appreciate you daily and grow to love you evermore for your wondrous gift that was offered in true love, through your Glorious Son. Jesus Christ our Lord and God.
