Day 301 Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness

This wonderful chameleon was at Chester Zoo. He was full of colours and wasn’t really blending in to the surroundings, but they are meant to. He also had a friend that was bright green.

How wonderful is our God that He can design creatures that will adapt to the surroundings. The diversity of life on this planet is such that we are still discovering new species each day.

Psalm 29:1-4

Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones,
Give unto the Lord glory and strength.
Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name;
Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
The God of glory thunders;
The Lord is over many waters.
The voice of the Lord is powerful;
The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

The voice of the Lord is over all the designs of creatures on this earth, including the chameleon and we should thank God that he has created an endless world and universe that has never ending surprises so that we shall never be bored of discovering new species and new planets and exploring every inch of the unknown.

9. And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!”

Are we saying Glory to God enough in our lives? Do we worship him for the beauty and holiness in this world?

God, creator, sustainer and designer. Thank you for your amazing creatures that constantly surprise us and lead us on to discover continuing new things every day about your glorious creation.

Amen
