Mist rising from the first light
Sunrise brings colours to a beautiful sight
Life is starting to come alive
birds wake and sing their song live

I feel empty as I wait for the alarm
Birds already singing a beautiful psalm
Water washes the nightmares away
Prayer seems empty like just another day

The clouds come in and the dark rains fall
Cars speed on roads and horns sound angry calls
Lessons start in a mess with no soul from within
Just get through the day so another one can begin 

Sunset filters through the clouds and the trees
Dark rain is coming you can feel it on the breeze
The Prayer seems shallow and the words barely sound
Another day done as we keep ahead of the hound

Daniel 10:12
12 Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.

When your days seem all but lost just wait on the Lord
For our faith is in Him and His two edged sword
When words barely sound just sit still in his love
until your prayers return answered with angels from above
