I was watching a fireworks display tonight. It was hard to catch all the colours in the short time.
God on the other hand provides this type of display constantly at some point all over the earth. He has created and continues to create galaxies and stars throughout the universe. Many of the displays He has created we have not seen, and he does this over a huge time period.
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18 But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed:
“Their sound has gone out to all the earth,
And their words to the ends of the world.”
I have always thought that the galaxies are creating a type of music. Their sound we can see and if we could understand it, it would sing about the glory of God.
Here you can see at the centre of the whirlpool galaxy what looks like a cross. Even this galaxy sings for the Lord with a perfect message of love.
As the fireworks fired off and red heart shaped fire rang out I thought about the amazing Spirit of God that has given us the ability to put these types of displays on. Here is explosives being used for good, to wow and to create a sense of awe and wonder, but God inspires us with creation every moment of the day through His awesome displays all over the planet and through the heavens.
Lord thank you for your creations and your displays of wonder.
