The sky gradually draws me to dwell on the clouds and shapes even more each day. Fascinating colours and shapes that provoke ideas and thoughts. The blue sky suggests all is well, but the scars that whip across suggest otherwise and the orange like low clouds seem to go against the upper white cloud.
Things can appear to be calm but there is a war raging.
A spiritual war of skirmishes and battles is being fought, and there may be no evidence that this war is being fought, only people turning away from the Lord when a skirmish is lost and people turning to the Lord when a battle is won.
Prayer strengthens our resolve and gives us armour to go into these battles and intercede against the evil powers, and having a relationship with Jesus gives us a spiritual sword to wield so that God’s will can be done on earth.
So go tonight and pray for another, that they be delivered to the Lord safely for his guidance and salvation.
4 I use God’s mighty weapons, not those made by men, to knock down the devil’s strongholds.
Amen
