We are the watchmen, 
we warn of coming danger
we are tasked not to sleep
we are the first defence,
we should shout out loud

“there is danger and we must act, pray like your lives depend on it, because they do!”

Isaiah 62:6
I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest,

We should be vigilant and warn of danger. Danger to pull our children away from the Lord, danger to subvert the message, danger from the enemy for there is a war raging in the skies and it is being fought in the celestial realm.

But we are also to bring the good news to as many as we can, for there is always hope, hope and happiness that we have salvation into the next world if we accept our Lord and saviour and do his bidding. For he is not an angry God but a merciful and faithful friend who came to serve no to be served.

Isaiah 52:8
Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy. When the LORD returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes.

Dear should shout for joy because we have the almighty God on our side and nothing can prevail against God.

Dear Lord, help us all to stay calm and optimistic in the face of coming messengers. Help us to discern whether they are here to help or to hinder. Help us to pray to you and shout for joy on all occasions.
