Here is a bee.
He has a purpose.
He is doing his bit.
He is collecting pollen for his hive.
He is content with eating nectar.
His job is pretty dangerous;
extreme landing on moving objects,
predators trying to attack him at every turn,
traps from spider webs lying in wait,
his food and area to manage is getting smaller and smaller,
there are many poisons out there and diseases are abound,
Man is the enemy but he is not aggressive.
He seems happy to carry on and even when my hands are extremely close taking this picture,
he doesn’t bother me as he knows his purpose and he is busy doing his bit.
Some questions about my faith.
Tonight I have been thinking about my place here on earth. Do we believe that this earth we live in is special or is it just another random chance that everyone exists on such a tender chain of coincidences? Do we believe we were put here for a reason or do we think we are simply here as random coincidences? We live and then we die – is that the end of us?
Does life come from none life? – There is no scientific evidence for this. It has never been shown. My belief is that we were created for a purpose, to manage this earth and to show that God is glorious through love and joy. The earth is a gift so let us cherish it with love.
How do I resolve billions of years? I can cope with the idea of billions of years, as I can cope with thousands of years. God created time as well as this universe, so He can naturally control time.
“In beginning (Time) God (force) created (action) the heavens (space) and the earth (matter).
At the start it doesn’t say how long he took to create this first part but if God or a force had created time, space, and matter; then to Him it wouldn’t be any problem to do things instantaneously or to do them in a special type of time (a special day), or slowed or stopped time

And the moon stopped,
Till the people had revenge
Upon their enemies.
Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.

Do I accept evolution? We see there is micro evolution – this has been shown to be correct and there is much empirical evidence to prove this. Life adapts to this earth as time goes on. What has not been shown to happen is macro evolution – Dinosaurs changing into birds, wolves (or elephants) into whales, lizards turning into monkeys and then humans. No evidence has shown that genetic information can be added to the mix. Darwen said that if there is no links to each creature then this disproves this theory. There does not appear to be any missing links – all that show monkey to human evolution have been shown to be false by scientists, but still we believe them because they are already printed in text books and we do not want to challenge this theory. Many scientists back this up and others have been laughed at or scorned for even pointing out the obvious – so they remain quiet. Here is a website where many scientists have signed their names voicing their doubts against darwin’s idea of evolution http://www.dissentfromdarwin.org – God could have used evolution as he could have used any other method because He is a force that created everything; time, space, and matter – so doing this slowly and gradually changing creation would have been easy for such an awesome power.
Don’t you think, as complex as any organism is, if we were designed we were poorly designed. – I think humans were wonderfully and fearfully designed.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
We can live on any part of this planet, we have used our brains to adapt to any situation. The eye is an amazing part of the body, designed extremely well. If you suggest that we were poorly designed, then I suggest you should start to look at nature and how fantastic that can adapt to extreme changes. How the bee is designed so it can fly, it seems impossible but it does. How we are taking many inventions straight from animals and nature. Just look at the design of planes, or of cures for diseases that we have created from nature. How can extremely complex designs develop and add information into their genetic code? This has never been shown scientifically. We are fantastic creations, just think we have created many inventions through imagination, many works of art, music, space rockets, cures, and innovations. All of this was inspired through the Holy Spirit, but beyond this we still have within us sin, that is envy, hate, love of self over all else and many other things.

This announcement fills me with excitement. Wouldn’t it be great to find another habitable planet and design a way to go there and colonise it. Perhaps God realised that one day we would out grow earth and need to find a new home. Wouldn’t it be a pity if we colonised another planet and still harboured hate so that we still destroyed each other and polluted a new earth. Perhaps all our hate is actually holding the human race back. And no, another earth does not shake my faith, it just drives it forward.
God created an amazing universe for us to manage it, to test it, to explore it, to love it.
Thank you God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Doesn’t Fact disproves the reason you invoke to believe in god? I am not sure what you mean by this. God and the heavens are beyond this world. There is more to this world than what we can see or put within a test tube, and my faith in Jesus fills me with joy every day because I know that He is guiding me through the Holy Spirit from the Father above. A child once thought it incredible that I believed Jesus was an actual historical person, despite every historian accepting this, and there is more evidence for Jesus Christ and His glorious resurrection than there is for Julius Caesar.

Don’t you think that if ever a creator exists it is certainly not the God of the bible? Which God then? Let’s bring this back to mother nature! If the earth is a sentient being, being aware of itself and its life forms and trying to care for all and itself, then how did it get here, did it create itself from nothing, matter from no matter. God has always existed. What evidence is there that the earth communicates with us? God communicates to us when we ask him to, as He is there waiting for the door to open.
Lord I pray that you God may enlighten us, so that we can all receive the great news that we can all change. We can all receive forgiveness to change through Jesus to cast our hate away, and I pray that we receive this with joyous thanks. I pray that we accept the joyous gift that we have been created in this special world and Jesus can cast away our sin. Lord we have a reason to be here and I pray that you reveal it to us so that we may know you and love your creation, that we are all an extremely small part of.
Lord, the bee is doing his bit for the hive outside in the corner of my garden. I pray that we all can do our bit for our family, that is all humans on this earth and the earth we inhabit.
