For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh, 2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
A simple reflection tonight;
A yellow rose is sometimes given as a sign of encouragement, of hope, and to cheer someone up. I shall try to ask God to send out that hope tonight to all. There are many people, projects and things that need to come together and I can not see a way forward. But thankfully my faith is in God and we are told that all treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in the Father and Christ. These treasures can only be unlocked by following the prompts of the Holy Spirit.
All my friends far away that I haven’t seen for a while, I will be praying for you and your families as I try to pray for as many of you as I can each day, and if any need prayers just send me a message and I will be happy to.
Dear Lord God, send out hope, send out love, send out faith, steady our hearts, cheer our souls, cleanse our spirit, heal our bodies and minds, give us all rest, and allow us all to experience instruction from your Holy Spirit.
Keep us all safe tonight in your protection.
