The simple colours of the orange and blue tell of a calm day where the warm sun has been kind on the United Kingdom today.
The sunset doesn’t have to be dazzling you with colour like some of the high definition photos that I have used. It can be a tranquil calm colour that just fills you with God’s joy, that points you towards his work. There are three reasons why I can be content today;
I was reminded today that God is not dead and he has a funny habit of coming back to life.
I was reminded that faith is very much alive and an important part of a young persons life.
I had the chance to share my journey in faith so far with someone I hadn’t really spoken to before.
Although I didn’t convert or convince thousands today, I think with the steady calm pace we can win the race, which is not about being the first over the line but running the race with perseverance.
The Race of Faith
12 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The Discipline of God
3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
Religion may be made fun of by people who have chosen to block God out but Faith in God is alive. People may be following a false God, and the proof is in their actions and the fruit of their life, but the Christian faith is alive.
My faith is alive within me and I am continually thankful that the Lord does not abandon us but continually refills us with his love, with the Holy Spirit.
11 Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face evermore!
Awh.. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
