The night was rain and wind all night. It seemed at points that the tent would be blown over, but as dawn rose the drizzle settled and we all went about waking up and getting moving.
The sky shows a glow of a semicircle in the sky. Faint colours radiate across the sky as children played oblivious to the display going on, despite its subtle qualities.
I establish my covenant with you……………..
This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
A wonderful days walking, not only because eventually the sun came out and dried us up but that the day showed resilience and dogged determination as children challenged themselves to walk and navigate past their pain barriers.
Natural leaders seemed to emerge, as Noah must have had a natural leadership about him to complete Gods task. Not that he convinced men but that he set himself with dogged determination to do gods work.
The covenant that was set down is for eternal generations.
Jesus came down to finalise that covenant. His sacrifice was for perpetual generations.
Dear Lord help me to have this same dogged determination to follow your path in Spirit and truth.
