12 And a great sign appeared in heaven:
a woman clothed with the sun,
with the moon under her feet,
and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
2 She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth.
Has anyone thought how interesting this statement appears on its own, taken out of context it appears to suggest that a female is clothed with the sun. The moon is always referred to as feminine. So the moon is clothed with the sun’s light. I know this is no revelation because I have just taken the small phrase out of context, at least that’s what some theologian will tell me. But you see I never really got excited by any theology books, they are the type of books that I would fall asleep trying to read one page. I am not interested in the theory of things, I want to do things!
I want to do God’s work, not read about it.
I want to experience God, not think about Him.
I want to evangelise the Kingdom, not just talk about it.
I want God’s presence here and now in this world to be manifest and for everyone to have no excuse as to turn to God in love and peace. In reality I have always sought God. In reality as I listened to testimonies on Saturday about how people had a hole and they searched for something to fill it, I realised that I too had once had a hole and Jesus had given me a heart transplant. He had broken His heart out on the cross and shared it for all His people of the cross. I am one of those people that have accepted His heart. But this is not the end of it, as I need to continually change to be Christ-like.

Everyone must have God’s work in them, everyone is held together by God but only when you accept Jesus as Lord and saviour does your body become a temple, a dwelling place for Him, the Holy Spirit. Think about that. Your body is a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit of God.
How do you treat your body?
I have started running again and I must look after my body, not just physically because the fight is not really on this plane, but in principalities of God’s Kingdom. We must renew our thoughts to be holy. We must remember at all times that God’s presence is within us. God’s guiding light is within and no amount of torture, pain or gruesome executions can take this temple away from us. Jesus proved this when He let them torture, flail, nail, and spear his body, before rising from the dead.
Let us cloth ourselves in God’s light, Jesus Christ so that we too can be children of God as white as snow and not afraid of this worlds challenges.
Lord I pray for your children of the cross on this earth.
I pray for their courage to maintain the faith and be true.
Help them withstand the insults, torture and killings to finally be with you.
Bring Jesus’ unmistakable presence here on this earth in our time, for the world is in birthing pains.
Amen
with blessings
