The sun is rising above a road, lights line the road. It seems that Gods glorious beauty sometimes is complimented by human creation.

I have to say that from very early on in life I have been searching for something. Searching for what – I didn’t know, I just had a feeling. Pretty silly really when you think about it, if a kid asks you to help him look for something, you would ask him what you are looking for, and if he told you he didn’t know what he was looking for, you would think he was slightly mad. Well that’s me summed up! Even now I joke about being mad or having lost it years ago – well perhaps I did lose it years ago, but the beauty of God is that the whole time God has been with me and using all these silly weaknesses and disastrous moments in life to change me and others for the better.

Gods plan has been mapped out for me and I am sure all the details will all make sense. At points I believe I have taken the right path and at others I may have made a detour but I believe I am on track again. Jesus has been with me all my life whether I have acknowledged him or not.

I have had signs from him to lead me on the straight path and over the years I have forgotten about them. These signs you could say are like the lights on the side of this road in the picture.

All things happen for a reason.

Ecclesiastes 3

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2     a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3     a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4     a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5     a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6     a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7     a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8     a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Sometimes we can connect with people and these people ring true for us, perhaps God has engineered certain people to lead us on the next step. Also works created by humans, films, music, art and many other things help us sometimes to move forward with our thinking. God can use anything in his plan, we just have to be aware of His presence and not be afraid to act when we must.

I pray that we shall pray for Gods direction and when we hear it that we shall act. May God’s will be done.
