The day begun with drizzle and cloud. But new life is starting to emerge from the garden, just as a blue streak of sun arrived in the afternoon.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Reflecting on this quote it seems obvious but easily missed. All things have become new. With Christ we can look at situations differently, without malice, without envy, with new eyes. My wife Sue often asks “be my eyes”, when she has not got her glasses handy. We have new eyes. We have the eyes of Christ. When we go about our day we are asked to see through the eyes of God and react to the situation, not in hate or envy but in love. We are here to love, to show love and to be examples for others.
I pray the more you see the flowers bloom into new life, then think of the new life of Christ within us. Think of the new life that will be within others when we reach them with the word of God. I pray that we all reach someone new and breath new life into them. Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
