Day 66 the wolf will live with the lamb

A day with the family to Blackpool sandcastle swimming and whizzing around in slides before driving to St Annes to catch a sunset. How a blessed life I lead. The sunset reminded me of some great arms reaching across from the left to comfort all the darkness and pain. Surely God is good, He created all of this for us to manage, to be stewards of the earth.

But God being Good must want to bring as many back to Him if not all. Yes we have to make recompense for our sins, but believing and living in Jesus we can have assurance that we will see God in heaven and all our sins shall be made clean in Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 16:6

The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling together;
and a little child will lead them.

As Jesus was in the wilderness we are told that He was there with the wild beasts. I can imagine the beasts just sitting down with Jesus comforting Him and worshiping Him. But the reference fro Isaiah also looks forward to a time were perhaps all animals will be tame towards each other, where man will not need to be afraid of wild animals. But I perhaps it also refers to people in this life if they have been like wolves, if they have committed evil. Perhaps they will be able to let go of all their hate, and their victims can forgive and we can all live in piece.

This last image looks warm as the sun goes down over the horizon.

Tonight I pray we find that hate that may linger in our hearts and let go of it.
I pray we forgive all who have offended us, and I pray we move forward to a joyful time when Jesus Christ will return to bring peace and perfection to the earth.

Amen

with blessings
