Day 55 A robin flew down and sang his song

This Lent we are on a journey. A journey with our saviour, and we must experience all the pain, and the shame of our sin and we journey into the wilderness to find out what our God has install for each one of us.

Hebrews 12:2

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The Robin.

A Robin flew down and sang aloud with his song
sang aloud till the birds sang along
sang aloud till some birds cried Sire please repair
sang aloud till some birds where then healed from despair

A Robin stood up tall and with pity called out
called out aloud as his breast swelled with pride
called out aloud  about new life that we seed on this earth
called out the trials and the death and the sword in his side

A Robin stood still and listened as jeers all around
all jeers from the onlookers and peers from the town
all jeers from crowd about to curse and sin
all Jeers as he comforted his mother and kin

A Robin fell down and was still in the ground
was still as the earth slowly covered him round
was still in the ground as his friends hid in fear
was still in the ground as the earth shed a tear

A Robin flew and sang his song “awaken all my kin”
a song He started long ago to take away all sin
a song he sang on this fine day as life was seen anew
a song he sings for everyone from elderly to new

With blessings
